Yoga For Fertility in Flowood, MS
Yoga has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and often improve fertility outcomes.
Benefits of Yoga
Yoga has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and often improve fertility outcomes. Ideally, 2-3 sessions per week for 6-12 weeks would be recommended and both in-person and virtual yoga has shown benefits.
Yoga helps manage stress by releasing muscular tensions held in the body and utilizing the breath to turn on the relaxation response and relax the mind which is important when it comes to fertility. Our instructor has worked both privately and in small groups facilitating women’s ability to carry healthy pregnancies to full term by helping them create hospitable and nurturing environments for the best possible outcomes of pregnancy.
Sara Sellers, RYT
Sarah is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with M Theory Yoga in 2021. Sarah’s classes focus on Vinyasa Flow, so you can expect to learn flows that allow you to match your breath and movement in a meditative practice. Sarah’s teaching style is highly influenced by the “honor your body” principle, which allows each yogi to make personal modifications, slow down or speed up as needed.
Sarah is from Montgomery, Alabama, and moved to Mississippi in 2019 to attend Millsaps College and work as an office manager at a mental health practice. She holds a BBA and MBA in marketing. Sarah also works closely directing camp retreats for adolescents struggling with anxiety and depression and is excited to begin classes at PARADIGM. She feels connected with those experiencing infertility as she became intimately aware of its impact while supporting a close family member through the journey herself.
